About Cleartract

Know the permit history before you write the offer.

Why it exists

Agents find out about open permits, unpermitted additions and over-age roofs or panels after the inspection or appraisal, when the buyer has leverage to renegotiate or walk and the closing date slips. The permit records exist, but they sit in city portals built for staff (search by record number or parcel, one result at a time), so nobody checks them before the offer.
